Rany Jazayerli, MD, is a board-certified dermatologist and a fellow of both the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society of Dermatologic Surgeons. He founded Clear Skin Dermatology in 2004 with an office in St. Charles, Illinois, and expanded the office to include locations in Sycamore in 2008 and Oak Park in 2015.

Dr. Jazayerli graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. He then received his medical degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Dr. Jazayerli went on to complete his internship at Oakwood Hospital in Dearborn, Michigan, and his dermatology residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit.

At his practice, Dr. Jazayerli enjoys treating skin diseases of all types in patients of all ages. He has a particular interest in skin cancer treatment and wart removal. He also uses phototherapy and advanced biologic therapies to treat psoriasis, vitiligo, eczema, and other conditions. Dr. Jazayerli has an expanding interest in various cosmetic treatments, including Botox®, Xeomin®, Juvederm®, and microneedling. Clear Skin Dermatology also offers the Varilite laser to treat unwanted blood vessels and other red spots.

Dr. Jazayerli is also a nationally-recognized sportswriter, who co-founded Baseball Prospectus as a first-year medical student in 1996, and has been a contributing author on 14 different books. He has published articles for The New York Times, The Washington Post, ESPN.com, and The Athletic, and he has been featured in publications including Sports Illustrated, The Chicago Tribune and Chicago Sun-Times, The Daily Herald, the Kansas City Star, the Baltimore Sun, the Orlando Sun-Sentinel, and other newspapers. He was a staff writer for Grantland, a subsidiary of ESPN, and has made several national TV appearances on MLB Network. He is currently a contributor for The Ringer.

When Dr. Jazayerli is not busy treating patients at Clear Skin Dermatology or moonlighting as a sportswriter, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Dr. Belsam Kashlan, a dentist who has her own private practice in Darien, and their four daughters.

Jennifer Cunningham, PA-C

Jennifer Cunningham, PA-C, grew up in the St. Charles area and is passionate about offering care to those in her community. She provides comprehensive medical and aesthetics services for patients at the Sycamore and St. Charles, Illinois, offices of Clear Skin Dermatology.

Jennifer attended Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She then completed a second undergraduate program at Midwestern University in Downers Grove, graduating Cum Laude and earning a Bachelor of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies.

With over two decades of experience as a physician assistant, Jennifer can diagnose and treat patients, prescribe medications, and perform office procedures. She has taken advanced cosmetic courses in Botox® and facial sculpting. Jennifer also specializes in cosmetic procedures such as Botox®, Xeomin®, Radiesse®, Juvederm®, Vollure®, and Volbella®.

Jennifer’s areas of interest include women’s health and cosmetic procedures. She is board-certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She holds active memberships with the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.

In her practice, Jennifer aims to act as an extension of the dermatologists and to provide exceptional care to each patient, fully addressing their dermatology and skin care needs.

Sarah Lupa, PA-C

Sarah Lupa, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant specializing in medical and aesthetic dermatology at Clear Skin Dermatology in Oak Park, Illinois. With a compassionate and patient-centered approach, she is dedicated to providing comprehensive dermatologic care to individuals of all ages and backgrounds.

Sarah earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Missouri-Columbia and her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in North Chicago. She is board-certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).

At Clear Skin Dermatology, Sarah treats a variety of conditions, including skin cancer, autoimmune diseases, acne, and warts. She is also proficient in cosmetic procedures such as Botox®, fillers, and platelet-rich plasma. Before transitioning to dermatology, Sarah specialized in cardiothoracic surgery & intensive care, gaining extensive surgical and patient care experience.

Sarah is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA), the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA), and the Illinois Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (ISDPA). Committed to staying at the forefront of dermatologic advancements, she regularly attends conferences and training sessions to learn the newest techniques in cosmetic procedures.

Sarah believes in treating others as she would like to be treated, ensuring each patient receives personalized, respectful, and high-quality care. She is known for the genuine connections she forms with her patients, making them feel comfortable and valued during their visits.
